The coroner was called to the State Police barracks in Corry, after a dead body was found, in the parking lot.

State Police are used to responding to scenes, but Tuesday morning, their barracks became a crime scene in and of itself.
The incident happened at the State Police barracks, on Route 6 in Corry.
Around 9:20 Tuesday morning, a Trooper heard a gunshot that came from outside their barracks.
A trooper went outside, to find a man on the ground of the parking lot, with a gunshot wound.
Erie County Deputy Coroner, Dennis Suscheck was was called to the scene, and declared the man dead.
The victim is identified as an 85 year old white man from Wattsburg. His cause of death has been ruled a suicide.
State Police say he drove his car to into the barrack's parking lot, got out of his car, then shot and killed himself.
Investigators say he did leave a note, it was located inside his car.
State Police say they did not talk to the victim at all, before he shot himself.
"There was no communication with state police personnel at all prior to this incident. There's no foul play suspected in this. It does not appear to be an accident though, but no foul play is suspected." Said State Police Trooper Darin Greenlee.
State Police have finished their investigation, identified the man, and determined there was no foul play.
