Critical Violations 11-5-09

A total of six critical violations at the Crossroads Dinor on West Plum in Edinboro. Three violations concerned their hand washing set up. CLICK FOR VIDEO The inspector says Crossroads had old food and dishes in that sink, and they didn't have any soap or paper towels. Two more criticals, they're about keeping things clean. One for black residue and pink slime inside the ice machine. The other for a can opener with food build up. The inspector gave then 24 hours to get it all fixed.===
Two criticals at Acme Seafood and Chinese Restaurant on Broad Street in Erie. One or blocked hand wash sink, the other for failing to use the proper dish drying procedure.===
The Colony Pub and Grill on West 8th in Millcreek got two criticals. no soap --- and no paper towels at their hand wash sink.===
Two criticals at the Quality Market on East Grandview in Erie. Both about food temperatures. Some alfalfa sprouts and chicken weren't being kept cold enough. That brought an order to THROW IT OUT.===
Three criticals at Shakers on West Main Street in Corry. One for a worker who touched ready to eat food with their bare hands. Another for a blocked hand wash sink.===
A pair of criticals at Saint John Holy Rosary School on East 27th Street in Erie. One for some severely dented cans.. The other for too much chlorine in their sanitizer.===
A single critical at the Oasis Pub on West Lake Road in Millcreek. Some knives and plastic food containers still had food residue on them.===
At the Brewerie at Union Station on West 14th Street in Erie, it's one critical for rice, chicken and deli meats not being kept cool enough.===
The R Bar on East 26th Street in Erie got one critical. The inspector says the person in charge was not performing their required duties.===
At Jake on the Park on South Park Row in Waterford, it' one critical for a blocked hand wash sink.===
The Hoagie Hut and Deli on Columbus Avenue in Corry or some improperly cooled chicken soup.===
Gannon University's Main Dining Hall got a critical because they didn't have enough sanitizer in the dishwasher.===
And finally, the Circle K store in Waterford got one critical for some food that wasn't being kept cold enough.
