Incumbent Mayor Joe Sinnott easily got his wish of a second four-year term tonight.
With 11,542 votes, Sinnott, a Democrat, beat out Republican Jack Anderson with 2,796 votes.
For his second term in office, Sinnott says he will focus on growing economic stability in the area, and also wooing people back within city limits.
"I just want to say 'thank you' to the community because they've been very supportive through the whole first term. There were some very hard decisions we had to make that other cities didn't have to go through. Everyone was supportive of me, so it's made it a good ride," he says.
