MIllcreek Candidate's Car Vandalized

Late last week, Keith Coleman says someone dumped gasoline all over the inside of his vehicle. CLICK FOR VIDEO It was parked in front of his home here at 52nd and Clinton. A newspaper delivery boy noticed the car last Friday morning. Both car doors were open on the right side of the vehicle. A rag was found hanging outside the car. Police were notified.
"The strong odor of gasoline and it appeared as though gasoline had been either spilled or poured inside the vehicle," said Captain Michael Tesore.
Coleman is the Democratic candidate for Millcreek Township Constable. He won the spot on the ticket through a write in campaign and will face Republican incumbent Bill Peterson in next Tuesday's Municipal Elections.
"Do you think its related to your run for office. I'm not 100 percent sure maybe there's signs on the car we have signs outside the house," said Coleman.
The car was impounded. Police say they needed the vehicle to collect possible evidence.
