Critical Violations 10-15-09

When the health inspector went to Bizarro's Ringside Restaurant on Sterrettania Road in Millcreek, they found a total of four critical violations. CLICK FOR VIDEO One for a cleaning agent being used as a sanitizer, another for not having actual sanitizer during the inspection. Ringside got another critical for a lack of single-use towels at their hand wash sink. The fourth critical concerns the person in charge. The inspector says that person is not performing their required duties. The have 30-days to take care of the situation. Three criticals at the Bay County Hotel on West 12th Street in Millcreek. One for not using sanitizer, another for a slicer with an accumulation of food on it. The third critical was for food not being kept cool enough. Of course that brought an order to take the affected food and THROW IT OUT! Two criticals at Jasmine on East 6th in Erie. Both about handwashing. One because there was no soap available at the handwash sink. The other because there were no single use towels at that sink. They got 24-hours to take care of it. One critical at the Pizza Hut on North Center Street in Corry. It's about protecting the food from possible contamination. The inspector says their soda gun nozzles just weren't clean. And finally, one critical at the Ponderosa Steak House on Edinboro Road in Millcreek. The inspector says they didn't have enough sanitizer in their wiping cloths bucket. They fixed that during the inspection.
