Critical Violations 10-8-09

When Erie County Health Department inspectors went to Joe Roots on West 8th Street in Millcreek, they found two critical violations. CLICK FOR VIDEO  One was about their hand wash sink. The inspector says the sink at the bar was blocked by dish racks. Joe Roots got another critical for a food temperature problem. Some food in the line cook's cooler was above the 41-degrees limit. They fixed both problem during the inspection.===
   Two criticals at Mason Farms on Peninsula Drive in Millcreek. One's about the hand wash sink. They were using part of the produce sink for that, the inspector said they need a separate hand wash sink. They have a month to fix it.
  Another critical at Mason Farms because they didn't have enough bleach water in a sanitizer spray bottle. That problem, fixed during the inspection.===
    One critical for the Arby's on New Perry Highway in Summit Township. It concerns protecting the food from contamination. The inspector says Arby's ice machine bin has pink mold in it. They have a week to fix the problem.===
   The health inspector gave the Girard High School cafeteria a critical. They didn't have a designated hand wash sink in the dish room. They have a week to fix the problem.===
   A sink problem got the North East High School Concession stand a critical.
   The inspector says it was blocked and inaccessible.
