The Good Reports 10-1-09
October 1, 2009, 11:20 am
We get things going in the City of Erie this week. Erie County health inspectors didn't find a single health-code violation at Mr. Sub and the Jive Unlimited, both on State Street in the city. Elsewhere around the county this week, no problems at the Dollar General on Route-19 in Waterford. Same spotless story at two spots in Girard, Mike's Meats on Vine Street and the Rite-Aid on Ridge Road. A number of Erie County schools got perfect report cards from the health inspector. That list includes the Cathedral Center School on West 11th Street, and the Perry Elementary Cafeteria on West 21st, both in Erie. Good reports as well at Edinboro Elementary and McKean Elementary Cafeterias in Edinboro, Elk Valley Elementary and Rice Avenue Middle School in Girard, and the Erie County Technical School on Oliver Road in Summit Township. In Waterford, it's Diamond Dishes at the Fort Leboeuf High School and Middle School Cafeteria and their indoor concession stand, as well as the Mill Village Elementary Cafeteria. In Lawrence Park, no problems at the Iroquois High School concession stand as well as the Junior and Senior High School cafeteria. In North East, A-plus grades for the Elementary and Middle School Cafeterias, and we wrap things up with Diamond Dishes for the Ridgefield Elementary Cafeteria in Millcreek, and the Klein Elementary Cafeteria in Harborcreek.
