Critical Violations 8-20-09

August 20, 2009, 11:41 am

When the health inspector checked out the Library Bar and Grille on North Center Street in Corry, they found two critical health-code violations. One concerned food temperatures. The inspectors says they had fetuccini noodles in a cooler at 47-degrees. Not cold enough. The rule's 41-degrees of colder. The Library Bar and Grille got a second critical for a food protection issue. The inspector says they had raw beef stored above raw fish, and that's not allowed. They fixed both violations during the inspection. One critical this week at Sander's Market on East 6th Street in Erie. It's about keeping the food contact surfaces cleaned. The inspector says spray nozzles have a build up of mold. The inspector gave them 24-hours to fix it. And one critical at the Colony Pub on West 8th Street in Millcreek. The inspector says food in a walk-in cooler was 45-degrees. Again, it needs to be 41-degrees or cooler. They fixed that during the inspection.
