Critical Violations 7-30-09

The problems continue for the Corry Country Club. They got two criticals this week. One is about the person in charge. CLICK FOR VIDEO The inspector says that person in charge is not performing their required duties. The second one's about sanitizer. The Club didn't have any sanitizer in its dishwasher. They fixed that during the inspection. Two criticals at the Country Food Restaurant on East Columbus Avenue in Corry. One concerns keeping the food contact surfaces clean. the inspector says they had a dirty soda gun. The restaurant got a second critical for food temperatures. Some potentially hazardous food wasn't being kept cold enough. That brought an order to take the affected meat, soup, eggs, and pies and throw it out. At the Safari Grill on Downs Drive in Summit Township, it's one critical for a hand washing issue. They didn't have any paper towels at their bar hand wash sink. At the Kwik Fill on Peach Street in Summit Township, it's about keeping the food contact surfaces clean. The inspector found black residue and pink slime inside their ice bin. They had 24 hours to fix the problem. At the Lawrence Park Golf Club on East Lake Road, outdated milk got them a critical. The inspector says they were serving milk that was past its expiration date. And finally, a single critical at CK's Lemonade and more on Perry Highway in Summit Township, food temperatures landed them a single critical violation. The inspector found raw eggs on the counter at 78-degrees. They threw 'em out, during the inspection.
