Let's kick off this week's rundown of perfect health inspections down at Liberty Park on Erie's Bayfront, the home of the 8 Great Tuesdays concert series. All the vendors there got violation-free reports. That includes the lemonade/corn dog stand, Cowboy Kettle Corn, Connie's Ice Cream, Carmen's Cookies, Steel City, Pita Place and Cup of Joe. Elsewhere in Erie this week, it's Diamond Dishes for Sunshine Ice Cream and Things on Camphausen Avenue, Country Fair on East 12th Street, and the Jive, a new place on State Street got the OK to open. In North East, no problems at the Townline Tavern on West Main Road. And a trio of perfect reports in Edinboro. They were at the Subway on Washington Towne Boulevard, the Giant Eagle on Erie Street, and the Kwik-Fill on West Plum.
