Holy Rosary Church will hold a Parish Fun Night on Friday, August 20 at the parish grounds at East 28th and East Avenue. The Parish Fun Night will include a Chinese auction, theme baskets, picnic type meal (including corn on the cob, hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, salad sides, brownies, funnel cakes, and more), children's games, bocce, live music and a raffle for several exciting items. The main raffle includes prizes of a 42-inch Phillips LCD television, a Toshiba Mini Laptop Notebook, a Wii Game System with Sports plus Resort plus Motion Plus, and $150 in gift cards for gas, dining and entertainment. The festival runs from 4 to 10 p.m. with the raffle drawing held at 9:30 p.m. The Parish Fun Night is open to the public with all proceeds benefiting Holy Rosary Church.
