The Erie Chamber Orchestra, in residency at Gannon University, and under the direction of Bruce Morton Wright will perform its next concert on Friday, November 20th at 7:30 p.m. in the Central Tech Auditorium/ 3325 Cherry Street/ Erie, Pennsylvania 16508. The concert will feature the Edinboro University Singers under the direction of Choir Director – Peter van den Honert. The Orchestra will begin the concert with a performance of the Dmitry Shostakovich - Symphony No. 9 in E flat major, Op. 70. The last work on the program will be a performance of the Franz Schubert - Mirjams Siegesgesang "Song of Triumph" Op. 136 with the Edinboro University Singers and featuring Edinboro University Vocal Professor, Soprano Soloist - Dr. Anne Ortega. The concert is "free of charge,” however, please remember that but because of the popularity of such a concert, seating maybe somewhat limited and is always on a first come, first served basis.
